“FALL” IN LOVE WITH SAMMY D’S ALL OVER AGAIN

The days have gotten shorter and the temperatures have gotten colder, but things are heating up at Sammy D’s at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City!  Chef Sammy D has whipped up some seasonal dishes that will have diners “falling” in love with his restaurant and his unique spin on classic dishes all over again.
Get warmed up with new appetizers like Butternut Squash Soup garnished with pumpkin seeds, pumpkin oil and crème fraiche, or the Roasted Cauliflower “Steak” dressed with capers, raisins, arugula, roasted grapes, pistachios, and verjus glaze.  The Escarole Salad is a crisp way to savor the season with hazelnuts, pecorino Romano, plump raisins, red onion, lemon and extra virgin olive oil.
New seasonal entrees include Heritage Pork Schnitzel served with warm potato salad, chicory salad, pickled apples, capers and grilled lemon and Roasted Cod accompanied with butternut squash, bacon, whipped potatoes, pomegranate and leek butter.  Enjoy Sammy’s take on classic comfort foods that are sure to warm your spirits and your soul, like Chicken Marsala – sautéed chicken breast, taleggio cheese, potato gnocchi, mushrooms and truffles or Mushroom Pappardelle – forest mushrooms, mushroom broth, truffle butter and parmesan cheese.
Of course, some of Sammy D’s classic dishes are still available, like his American Dumplings, Roasted Prime Rib and Sammy’s Shelltacular.  There’s something for everyone at Sammy D’s!
