There's something wrong with the sports minds in charge in South Philly.
When it comes to the basket ball team, no wins, have been good wins for the past 5 years or more!
All fans would hear is "Trust The Process."
And the Sixer's went from the proud team that gave us Dr. J to a bunch of clowns that people compared un-favorably to The Washington Generals (the road team that lost to The Globe Trotters every night.)
Now down the street from where the Sixers play, The Eagles had a "process" that I believe would work in 2 years and kind of NFL proven.
The Process I Believed In was to keep Sam Bradford as your starting QB for 2016- ...(build an Offensive Line that can keep SB upright and off the injury report) and let your number one pick Carson Wentz learn how to play NFL Ball.
Well Saturday, The Eagles jettisoned Bradford to The Vikings and I understand why.
Bradford put in zero games where he looked like a "winning QB."
Here's my problem though.
The Eagles were not going to be winners this year anyway.
Also with Tony Romo in jured in Dallas, the Eagles had a real shot at a play off run.
Most importantly, Wentz would have gotten some great experience learning the game.
By 2018 Wentz would have been a superior NFL Quarter Back...(which is what The Eagles want.)
Now I just think that Carson Wentz will go the way of every other Eagles QB not names McNabb since McNabb.
No...I don't think you should get excited about play off tickets now....and I no longer think Wentz should get excited about a long career in the league.
However, if you manufacture high price jerseys for little kids that love the Eagles or for grown adults in Philly that base their mood on the final score of games on Sunday's? You will make a lot of money this year on Wentz and you will make more money next year when there's another QB and possibly coach in Eagle's Green.
