Sunday's Taste Of The Light will Celebrate 4 Great Patrons Of The Arts

We are re-launching (in officially) The Little Wellness Arts Brand!

One thing that I am personally proud of will be bestowing small gifts of appreciation to four friends two of which I met this year and two of which have been amazing friends of the arts in AC for more than 20 years!

Steven Young and his people of The Polaris Group have revitalized the Kentucky Ave Renaissance.

For more than 25 years Young has  been a champion for AC and for the past 7 years Young has headed AC's Premiere Street Festival!

CONNIE DRUMMOND

Connie is not only an award winning playwright. Ms. Drummond has invested her time and money into a vision that is giving artists an amazing space to create from the stage to the walls The Artzcape Gallery and Stage is Drummond's gift to area artists!

MAME YOUNG

Let me start by saying...why New York let Mame Young leave is amazing.
With more than 15 years experience as a collector and gallery owner, Ms. Young's La Belle Art Gallery in Haddonfield is a gem that adds value to the whole down town area.
Each painting in her gallery tells stories of love, peace and victory.

The legacy of Chicken Bone Beach is as important to AC as The Apollo is to Harlem!

Shelton has started an organization that makes sure that the legacy LIVES, BREATHES and PLAYS ON. Thanks to Ms. Shelton the music of Chicken Bone Beach can be heard today in AC...12 months out of the year. Thanks for not allowing Chicken Bone Beach to just be a collection of old newspapers and "I remember when."

The Little Wellness Arts Gallery Returns.

The Little WAC Presents

The Little WAC TOUR!

In August of 2014 The Little Wellness Arts Center closed their doors in Pleasantville, NJ.

Since that time my members, artists, family and I have been looking for a new home.

While the right space has not made itself available, we have decided to take our vision for Arts and Wellness on the road with The Little Wellness Arts Tour!

We will be doing pop up galleries, sponsoring events and fundraisers that will feature artists, parties, fundraisers and more! The same out of the box, beyond the pale and sometimes off the wall events that were at home at The Little Wellness Arts Center will now be on tour between Atlantic City and Philadelphia.

The UN Official Kick Off will be Sunday July 30th at 3pm at The Boneyard in Atlantic City!

I have curated a showing with 3 great visual artists!

CHERYL B. SELLERS- Is the author of 2 novels, several books of poetry and a master CRAFTER!

VERNEEN HILL- Will be showing her gifts of expression through various mixed media.

DAMALI- is an award winning poet. In fact a ICON of the genre of poetry and spoken word in Philly and on the east coast. His photographs are no less ICONIC and though provoking!

I will also be showing some new watercolor and acrylic paintings from a small collection I am calling
FRESH FOR 2017!

Morey’s Piers presents the Beach Sports Festival in Wildwood
on Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23

The Wildwoods, NJ – July 11, 2017 – Morey’s Piers presents a Beach Sports Festival featuring lacrosse, field hockey and track events on Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 on the Wildwoods’ award-winning beaches.
This event – one of the only beach sports tournaments in the world – gives players of all ages a chance to experience each sport in a new and exciting way. All competitions will take place on the beach north of Mariner’s Landing Pier at Schellenger Avenue in Wildwood.
Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 will feature beach field hockey and beach lacrosse games all day long, as well as a multi-event beach track competition from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. consisting of pole vault, long jump, triple jump, shot put and javelin. A timed one-mile beach race will be held on Saturday only. The first gun goes off at 10 a.m., and medals will be awarded to the top five finishers in each seeded race.

Delsea Drive's Classic Car Show!

'Classic' car owners & Americana fans, come down & join us for the Delsea's 2017 installment of our annual Classic Car Cruise!!

On Saturday, August 5, we invite classic cruisers down to show & share their awesome vehicles at the D.D.I. -- we're going to have a number of raffles and associated prizes for the entrants!

Classic cruisers will also have free admission to the showing of our community-chosen classic car-themed movie! Poll regarding the movie choice is incoming! (In recent years we've had Gone in 60 Seconds, American Graffiti, Back to the Future, so we're trying not to repeat those!)

Also incoming is a form for Classic-owning patrons to fill in information about their cars for the event!

Award Winning Photographer DAMALI With Be Showcasing in The Little Wellness Lounge at Taste Of The Light!

On Sunday July 30th, people from South Jersey, Delaware, Philly and from across the east coast will be attending TASTE OF THE LIGHT!


The day party features dance music curated by Ray The Closer, samples and food for sale by great caterers , and The Little Wellness Arts Lounge.


The Little Wellness Arts Lounge is the latest offering of art from Raymond Tyler who owned and operated The Little Wellness Arts Center for 3 years.


There will be a section of The Boneyad that will be set aside as the latest version of The Little Wellness Arts Lounge.


Along Raymond Tyler and Cheryl Sellers will be award winning photo/artist Damali!

Damali is a native of Philadelphia.
