AN OPEN LETTER TO THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF THE LITTLE WAC

Bad News. Good News. Good Bye For Now!

Dear Friends and Family,

Two years ago with the help of God, my family and a wealth of friends that supported with memberships, we opened The Little Wellness Arts Center.

For me operating this building was the realization of years of hard work and personal as well as financial sacrifice. It has been every bit a wonderful dream come true.

It has been great bringing the arts to the city of Pleasantville and the surrounding area.

I will share highlights at another time but for now I just want to share this official announcement and discuss what is next.

So here is the bad news.

On August 31st 2015, The Little Wellness Arts Center on 20 Old Turnpike Road will close it's doors.

We have truly had some magical nights and days of art and family and community there!

We thank every one that has made the past two years a success!

So many people invested their time from dropping off donations to sharing their craft to helping to fix and clean the areas. THANK YOU!

So many invested money and we thank you!

We hope that every one that came through our doors was greeted warmly and received some inspiration and WELLNESS and ART!

If you have not yet experienced our vision from the view point of 20 Old Turnpike Road you have about two weeks.

Here's The Good News!

Our Vision and Dedication to ARTS AND WELLNESS is STILL ALIVE and more vibrant than ever.
We have exciting partnerships that are in development and still open to work with almost any organization, school, church, library and other venues across the country.

The Little Wellness Arts will not only continue through traditional venues of arts and wellness, but we are also creating a TV, Radio and FILM branch of The Little Wellness Arts!

Though our location at 20 Old Turnpike Road is closing...we are moving to a new facility, that we will tell you about very soon.

In the past we asked you to come and support the arts. However, we have also always BROUGHT THE ARTS TO YOU and that will NOT Change!

You can still support through donations and buying memberships.
(Your generosity has allowed us to help the community through more than just art.)

You can still come to us to partner for events as groovy as CD release parties and as dynamic as arts festivals.

However, our time on Old Turnpike Road is indeed coming to a close.

Starting in September we will launch our new web site and you can keep up with us and have fun virtually until we re open or bring us to your venue.

Until August 31st, we want you to take every opportunity to come by and share your craft!

Also if you have eyed any art, books, furniture or other things at the gallery please let me know as almost every thing is for sale and we have stuff you can have if you haul it.

We are going into our new spot with new stuff and a new game plan in place!

Lastly, I have struggled with this announcement and I always hoped we could keep our place open on Old Turnpike Road as we moved on. I will miss this space and we hope you will too.

Again until August 31st we would like the arts community to come by and share some time and art with us. We still have great music and we still welcome artists, poets, singers and every one with an inspirational voice to join us.

On Saturday and Sunday August 29th and 30 we would like to have a couple of farewell events/parties if anyone is interested in being a part of the celeration please contact me. We can do it big or small and cozy.
